On October 11th, the 120MN (Mega Newton) multi-directional forging press independently developed, designed, and manufactured by China 22MCC Group Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of MCC Group, successfully forged a 20-inch super-hard aluminum alloy wheel hub forging, marking the company's complete mastery of aluminum alloy forging technology and its successful entry into the field of aluminum alloy forging.

The wheel hub forging, with a maximum diameter of 630mm and a weight of 65kg, is formed through two processes: pre-forging and final forging. It is highly suitable for production on the 120MN multi-directional forging press, whether in terms of product material, dimensions, or production technology. With a large market demand, it is the latest target product developed by China 22MCC Group and also the first aluminum alloy product forged by the company.

Compared to traditional casting techniques, forged aluminum wheels exhibit a strength three times that of conventional aluminum wheels, while weighing 20% less. Additionally, they can significantly reduce thickness while maintaining adequate strength. Aluminum alloy wheels produced using this process not only have uniform density, smooth surface, thin wall, and light weight, but also can withstand greater pressure.

Compared to conventional open-die forging presses, the 120MN multi-directional forging press offers advantages such as superior forging shape, material efficiency, and high compressive strength.
